Her peers as well as her students have recognized Ani’s dedication to her work and passion for education. She was the recipient of the UCLA Distinguished Faculty Teaching Award and the LMU Crimson and Blue Distinguished Teaching Award. Under her leadership the LMU Children’s Center was awarded national accreditation by the National Association for the Education of Young Children for 3 consecutive cycles and also has been voted the “Best in the West Childcare Center” by the Arganout for 7 consecutive years in a row.BEST of the Westside – Since 2013 every year under Ani’s leadership the LMU children’s Center has been the recipient of the best in the Westside childcare award
